Esta ley enmienda la Sección 3 de la Ley Núm. 458 de 29 de diciembre de 2000 para ajustar las referencias a los delitos tipificados en el Código Penal de Puerto Rico de 2004, reemplazando las referencias al Código Penal de 1974. La enmienda especifica una lista de delitos del nuevo código cuyas convicciones resultarán en la aplicación de la prohibición establecida en la Ley Núm. 458, e incluye una disposición para delitos equivalentes bajo jurisdicción federal o de otros estados y territorios de EE.UU.

To amend Section 3 of Act No. 458 of December 29, 2000, as amended, in order to adjust the same to the new Penal Code of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico of 2004.
This is one of several amendments to the laws affected by the approval of the new Penal Code of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, which in turn repeals the Code now in effect that was approved by Act No. 115 of July 22, 1974.
It is imperative that the entire penal body of laws be adjusted so that when the new Penal Code is introduced said body of laws achieves uniformity.
Section 1.-Section 3 of Act No. 458 of December 29, 2000, as amended, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 3.-The crimes for whose conviction the prohibition set forth in this Act shall apply, are the following:
A. Convictions for crimes typified in the Penal Code of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Act No. 115 of July 22, 1974, as amended. (1) (2) (3) (16) B. Convictions for crimes typified in the new Penal Code of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico of 2004. (1) Aggravated misappropriation; (2) Extortion; (3) Fraud; (4) Fraud in the execution of construction works; (5) Undue intervention in government operations; (6) Bribery: (7) Offer to bribe; (8) Undue influence; (9) Misappropriation of public funds; (10) Preparation of forged documents; (11) Presentation of forged documents; (12) Forgery of documents; (13) Ideological falsehood (14) Possession and transfer of forged documents.
C. For the purposes of the federal jurisdiction or that of the states and territories of the United States of America, the prohibition set forth in this Act shall apply in cases of convictions for crimes whose constitutive elements are equivalent to those of the aforementioned crimes."
Section 2.-Effectiveness This Act shall take effect when the Penal Code of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico of 2004 becomes effective.
I hereby certify to the Secretary of State that the following Act No. 300 (H.B. 4606) of the $7^{ ext {th }}$ Session of the $14^{ ext {th }}$ Legislature of Puerto Rico:
AN ACT to amend Section 3 of Act No. 458 of December 29, 2000, as amended, in order to adjust the same to the new Penal Code of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico of 2004, has been translated from Spanish to English and that the English version is correct.
