Resumen
Esta ley enmienda la Sección 23 de la "Ley de la Judicatura del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico" (Ley Núm. 11 de 1952) para fijar la compensación anual de los jueces del Tribunal General de Justicia. Establece los sueldos para el Juez Presidente y los Jueces Asociados del Tribunal Supremo, los Jueces del Tribunal Superior, los Jueces del Tribunal de Distrito y los Jueces de Paz, con fechas de efectividad específicas.

Para enmendar la Sección 23 de la Ley Núm. 11 de 24 de junio de 1952, enmendada, conocida como "Ley de la Judicatura del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico", a los fines de fijar la compensación anual de los Jueces del Tribunal General de Justicia.
Decrétase por la Asamblea Legislativa de Puerto Rico:
Artículo 1.- Se enmienda la Sección 23 de la Ley Núm. 11 de 24 de junio de 1952, enmendada, para que se lea como sigue: "Sección 23.-Sueldos
(a) El sueldo anual de Juez Presidente del Tribunal Supremo será de $62,600.00 a partir del primero de julio de 1985 .
El sueldo anual de cada uno de los Jueces Asociados del Tribunal Supremo será de $60,000.00 a partir del primero de julio de 1985.
(b) El sueldo anual de cada uno de los Jueces del Tribunal Superior será de $48,000 a partir del primero de octubre de 1986.
El sueldo anual de cada uno de los Jueces del Tribunal de Distrito será de $42,000 a partir del primero de octubre de 1986.
(c) El sueldo anual de cada uno de los Jueces de Paz será de $12,000 a partir del primero de octubre de 1986." Artículo 2.- Esta Ley entrará en vigor el 1ro. de octubre de 1986.

(No. 91) (Approved July 9, 1986) AN ACT To amend Section 23 of Act No. 11 of June*24, 1952, amended, known as the Judiciary Act of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, for the purpose of fixing the annual salaries of the Judges of the General Court of Justice.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF PUERTO RICO: Section 1.- Section 23 of Act No. 11 of June*24, 1952, amended, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 23.- Salaries
(a) The annual salary of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court shall be $62,600.00 from and after July 1, 1985.
The annual salary of each of the Associate Justices of the Supreme Court shall be $60,000.00 from and after July 1, 1985.
(b) The annual salary of each of the Superior Court Judges shall be $48,000 from and after October 1, 1986.
The annual salary of each of the District Court Judges shall be $42,000 from and after October 1, 1986.
(c) The annual salary of each of the Justices of the Peace shall be $12,000 from and after October 1, 1986.
Section 2.—This Act shall take effect October 1, 1986.
