Ley 51 del 1984
Resumen
Esta ley enmienda la Ley Núm. 29 de 25 de septiembre de 1983 para modificar los sueldos anuales del Secretario de Estado y del Presidente de la Junta de Apelaciones del Sistema de Administración de Personal. Además, establece y actualiza los sueldos anuales de diversos funcionarios de la Rama Ejecutiva del Gobierno de Puerto Rico, con vigencia a partir de fechas específicas.

Para enmendar el primer párrafo del Artículo 2 y el Artículo 4 de la Ley Núm. 29 de 25 de septiembre de 1983, la cual fija el sueldo anual del Gobernador, del Secretario de Estzdo, de los Secretarios de Gobierno y de otros funcionarios de la Rama Ejecutiva, a los fines de modificar los sueldos anuales correspondientes al Secretario de Estado y al Presidente de la Junta de Apelaciones del Sistema de Administración de Personal.
Decrétase por la Asamblea Legislativa de Puerto Rico:
Sección 1.- Se enmienda el primer párrafo del Artículo 2 de la Ley Núm. 29 de 25 de septiembre de 1983, para que lea como sigue: "Artículo 2.-El sueldo anual del Secretario de Estado será de $49.500 a partir del 1 ro. de julio de 1984." Sección 2.- Se enmienda el Artículo 4 de la Ley Núm. 29 de 25 de septiembre de 1983, para que lea como sigue: "Artículo 4.-El sueldo anual de cada uno de los siguientes funcionarios será el que se expresa a continuación de su título; y su vigencia a partir de la fecha especificada.

Sección 3.- Esta Ley comenzará a regir inmediatamente después de su aprobación. Disponiéndose que los efectos de la misma en relación con el sueldo anual del Secretario de Estado y del Presidente de la Junta de Apelaciones del Sistema de Administración de Personal serán efectivo el día 1 de julio de 1984.

To amend the first paragraph of Section 2, and Section 4 of Act No. 29 of September 25, 1983, which fixes the annual salary of the Governor, of the Secretary of State, of the Secretaries of the Government and of other officials of the Executive Branch, in order to modify the annual salaries corresponding to the Secretary of State and to the Chairman of the Board of Appeals of the Personnel Administration System.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF PUERTO RICO: Section 1.- The first paragraph of Section 2 of Act No. 29 of September 25, 1983, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 2.- The annual salary of the Secretary of State shall be $49,500 as of July 1, 1984."
Section 2.- Section 4 of Act No. 29 of September 25, 1983, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 4.- The annual salary of each one of the following officials shall be that which is set forth next to his title, and its effectiveness shall be from the specified date:

Section 3.- This Act shall take effect immediately after its approval. Provided, that its effects with relation to the annual salaries of the Secretary of State and of the Chairman of the Board of Appeals of the Personnel Administration System, shall take effect on June 1, 1984.
