LA Y Para enmendar el Artículo 208 del Código Civil de Puerto Rico, edición de 1930, para conceder al tutor la facultad de corregir a su pupilo.

Decrétase por la Asamblea Legislativa de Puerto Rico: Sección 1.- Se enmienda el Artículo 208 del Código Civil, edición de 1930, para que lea: "Artículo 208.-Los menores o incapacitados sujetos a tutela deben respeto y obediencia al tutor. Este podrá corregirlos moderadamente."

Sección 2.- Esta Ley empezará a regir inmediatamente después de su aprobación.

B. 760) of the 3rd Session of the 9th Legislature of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, entitled:

AN ACT to amend Article 208 of the Civil Code of Puerto Rico, 1930 Edition, to grant the tutor the power of correcting his ward, and finds the same are complete, true and correct versions of each other.

To amend Article 208 of the Civil Code of Puerto Rico, 1930 Edition, to grant the tutor the power of correcting his ward.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF PUERTO RICO: Section 1.- Article 208 of the Civil Code, 1930 Edition, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Article 208.- The minors or disabled persons under tutorship owe respect and obedience to their tutor. The tutor may correct them in moderation."

Section 2.- This Act shall take effect immediately after its approval.
