Esta ley enmienda el Artículo 200 del Código Civil de Puerto Rico de 1930, estableciendo que un tutor debe prestar fianza para asegurar el buen desempeño de su gestión antes de jurar y asumir su cargo.

Para enmendar el Artículo 200 del Código Civil de Puerto Rico, edición de 1930, para establecer que la fianza deberá ser prestada antes de que el tutor jure y entre en el ejercicio de su cargo.
Decrétase por la Asamblea Legislativa de Puerto Rico: Sección 1.- Se enmienda el Artículo 200 del Código Civil de Puerto Rico, edición de 1930, para que lea: "Artículo 200.-El tutor, antes de que jure y entre en el ejercicio de su cargo, prestará fianza para asegurar el buen resultado de su gestión." Sección 2.- Esta Ley empezará a regir inmediatamente después de su aprobación.

B. 759) of the 3rd Session of the 9th Legislature of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, entitled:
AN ACT to amend Article 200 of the Civil Code of Puerto Rico, 1930 Edition, to establish that the bond must be given before the tutor takes the oath of office and assumes the duties of his office. and finds the same are complete, true and correct versions of each other.

To amend Article 200 of the Civil Code of Puerto Rico, 1930 Edition, to establish that the bond must be given before the tutor takes the oath of office and assumes the duties of his office.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF PUERTO RICO: Section 1.- Article 200 of the Civil Code of Puerto Rico, 1930 Edition, is hereby amended to read: "Article 200.- Before taking the oath of office and assuming the duties of his office, the tutor shall give bond to assure the good results of his actions."
Section 2.- This Act shall take effect immediately after its approval.
