Resumen
Esta ley enmienda el inciso
(c) del Artículo 3 de la Ley Núm. 40 de 25 de mayo de 1972, para aumentar de doce (12) dólares a veinticinco (25) dólares la cantidad a pagarse por concepto de dietas a los miembros de la Junta Examinadora de Técnicos Automotrices de Puerto Rico. También establece el derecho a reembolso por gastos de viaje y un máximo de doce reuniones anuales para el pago de dietas y millaje.

Para enmendar el inciso
(c) del Artículo 3 de la Ley Núm. 40 de 25 de mayo de 1972, según enmendada, para aumentar de doce (12) dólares a veinte y cinco (25) dólares la cantidad a pagarse a los miembros de la Junta Examinadora de Técnicos Automotrices de Puerto Rico, por concepto de dietas.
Decrétase por la Asamblea Legislativa de Puerto Rico:
Sección 1.- Se enmienda el inciso
(c) del Artículo 3 de la Ley Núm. 40 de 25 de mayo de 1972, según enmendada, para que lea como sigue: "Artículo 3.- La Junta celebrará reuniones por lo menos dos veces al año para la consideración y resolución de sus asuntos, pero podrá reunirse cuantas veces fuese necesario para la pronta tramitación de sus gestiones y deberes.
(b) (c) Los miembros de la Junta recibirán dietas a razón de veinte y cinco (25) dólares por día o fracción de día en que asistan a las reuniones. Tendrán también derecho a recibir reembolso por los gastos de viaje en que incurran en el desempeño de sus funciones, de acuerdo a los reglamentos adoptados por el Departamento de Hacienda de Puerto Rico. El miembro de la Junta representante del Secretario de Transportación y Obras Públicas solamente tendrá derecho al reembolso por los gastos de viaje, según se señala. Disponiéndose que el pago por concepto de dietas y millaje a que tiene derecho cada miembro de la Junta, será hasta un máximo de doce (12) reuniones por año."
Sección 2.- Esta Ley comenzará a regir el 1ro. de julio de 1983.

To amend subsection
(c) of Section 3 of Act No. 40 of May 25, 1972 as amended, to increase from twelve (12) to twentyfive (25) dollars the amount of money to be paid as per diems to the members of the Board of Examiners of Automotive Technicians of Puerto Rico.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF PUERTO RICO: Section 1.- Subsection
(c) of Section 3 of Act No. 40 of May 25,1972 as amended, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 3.- The Board shall hold meetings at least twice a year for the consideration and resolution of its matters, but it may meet as many times as it may be necessary for the prompt transaction of its acts and duties.
(b) (c) The members of the Board shall receive per diems at a rate of twenty-five (25) dollars for each day or fraction thereof in which they attend meeting. They shall also be entitled to receive reimbursement for travel expenses which they may
incur in the discharge of their functions, in accordance with the regulations adopted by the Department of the Treasury of Puerto Rico. The member of the Board representing the Secretary of Transportation and Public Works shall only be entitled to reimbursement for travel expenses, as herein set forth. Provided, that the payment of per diems and travel expenses to which every member of the Board is entitled, will be up to a maximum of twelve (12) meetings per year." Section 2.- This Act shall take effect on July 1, 1983.
