Resumen
Enmienda la Ley Núm. 125 de 1979 para asignar fondos al Departamento de la Vivienda, provenientes del Tesoro Estatal, con el fin de financiar un plan de reemplazo de viviendas de asbesto-cemento y cubrir sus gastos administrativos. Autoriza, además, al Departamento a incurrir en obligaciones adicionales para este propósito.

LEY
Para enmendar el Artículo 5 de la Ley Núm. 125 de 20 de julio de 1979, que autoriza al Departamento de la Vivienda a establecer plan de reemplazo de viviendas de asbesto-cemento.
Decrétase por la Asamblea Legislativa de Puerto Rico:
Sección 1.- Se enmienda el Artículo 5 de la Ley Núm. 125 de 20 de julio de 1979, para que se lea como sigue: "Artículo 5.-Se asigna al Departamento de la Vivienda, con cargo a fondos no comprometidos en el Tesoro Estatal, la cantidad de siete millones cuatrocientos mil (7,400,000) dólares para el año fiscal 1979-80, y seis millones (6,000,000) de dólares para el año fiscal 1980-81, para llevar a cabo el plan de reemplazo de las viviendas de asbesto-cemento y para cubrir los gastos de administración que conlleva la implementación de dicho plan. Se autoriza al Departamento de la Vivienda a incurrir en obligaciones hasta la cantidad adicional de tres millones (3,000,000) de dólares para cumplimentar el propósito del plan autorizado en esta ley."
Sección 2.- Esta Ley empezará a regir inmediatamente después de su aprobación.

(NO. 119) (Approved June 12, 1980) AN ACT
To amend Section 5 of Act No. 125 of July 20, 1979, which authorizes the Department of Housing to establish a plan for the replacement of asbestos-cement houses.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF PUERTO RICO: Section 1.- Section 5 of Act No. 125 of July 20, 1979 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 5.- The sums of seven million, four hundred thousand (7,400,000) dollars for the 1979-80 fiscal year, and six million (6,000,000) dollars for the 1980-81 fiscal year, are hereby appropriated to the Department of Housing, from unencumbered funds in the Commonwealth Treasury, to carry out a plan for the replacement of asbestos-cement houses and to cover the administrative expenses for the implementation of said plan. The Department of Housing is hereby authorized to incur obligations up to the additional sum of three million (3,000,000) dollars to comply with the purpose of the plan authorized in this Act."
Section 2.- This Act shall take effect immediately after its approval.
